Marked man Markkanen!

Tuesday Quick Hits

  • DE'AARON FOX left today's game with 'knee soreness' but he banged his knee so I think it could be more of a bruise. DAVION MITCHELL came out and hit 23 points and would be a speculative add right now specially if you own Fox.

  • Fox out would also benefit KEVIN HUERTER who would take more ball-handling role- he has been on fire the past 2 games. Make sure he is not floating in your wires.

  • What to do with DOMANTAS SABONIS? He had another foul-plagued game today. Fox leaving helped him a little and should also give him a boost going forward, let's see if he can finally stop fouling for once.

  • DENNIS SMITH JR has been sensational with LaMelo and Rozier out. Big ? is what happens when they return which could be this week. Now is the last chance you have to sell high. While he won't be Omer Yurtseven and just fade out, his value will become more of a streamer when the Hornets are healthy.

  • It took some time but PJ WASHINGTON's slow start is over. He's solid top 80 guy because the return of their stars will hurt him a little. His minutes are safely at the high 30s so expect 3s-stls-blks goodies from him.

  • Joel Embiid's under the weather and looks like he could miss a game or two more- enter TYRESE MAXEY. He's been so good when Embiid rests or is out. It's also good for a guy like DE'ANTHONY MELTON who is back as a 14T league guy right now.

  • DENI AVDIJA got benched and thus his fantasy relevance ended before it even begun. I won't go adding ANTHONY GIL or RUI HACHIMURA right now, It's going to be a platoon at that forward spot for the Wizards. Gil and Rui are streamers now though.

  • Indiana has only 2 games this week and it doesn't help that TYRESE HALIBURTON, and MYLES TURNER lay big fat eggs on one of them. It's going to be a long week for their owners.

  • ISAIAH JACKSON injured his knee and didn't return. At least now owners can put him in their IL+ and stream his spot. Try holding him if possible.

  • BUDDY HIELD is on fire but I'd try floating some deals out there as Hield has high probability of being traded and prone to streak of poor shooting. Maybe a deal for Josh Giddey?

  • BEN SIMMONS took the night off but would supposedly play tomorrow. NIC CLAXTON got 32 minutes in his absence and had a big line. Claxton-Simmons are going to affect each other's values for the rest of the season.

  • TOR-ATL was a blowout so the Hawks' players get a pass with their poor lines. JOHN COLLINS has fallen back to his rightful place at the 50s-60s range, hope you sold high.

  • FVV rested this one with back stiffness and anytime one of their starters rest, I think the stream is CHRIS BOUCHER. Koloko might start but he puts up very low end value.

  • PASCAL SIAKAM's been a monster this year. He should have been picked in the late teens with the way he is playing and I think this is very sustainable. I'm holding.

  • Another player whose buy low window shut close is JRUE HOLIDAY. We always knew that shooting slump was going to end. The good thing with Jrue is even without scoring, his value won't go to 0 with all those assists and stocks.

  • Another game, another BROOK LOPEZ vintage performance. Remember, Khris Middleton hasn't played so that scoring is going to go down but the 3s/blks should be fine rest of the season.

  • ISAIAH STEWART with another double double. JALEN DUREN's out with his ankle injury and it's Nerlens Noel backing Stew which means his 30-32 minutes a night is safe. He remains solid punt FG big man to target.

  • We know the drill about NERLENS NOEL, he's good for the stocks and if he gets 19-20 minutes while Duren's out, short term appeal in leagues. Of course, he'll get injured at some point too.

  • Who needs a trade more- the Lakers or Utah? The Jazz are 6-2 after blowing out the freaking Grizzlies.

  • LAURI MARKKANEN's a top 40 player right now who is not being talked about much. He's been amazing and only a tank job can ruin his value

  • DESMOND BANE sat this one out but no one stepped up, hopefully it's just a 1 game absence. SANTI ALDAMA has cooled off significantly but as long as the minutes are there- he's still okay.

  • Plus, STEVEN ADAMS left today with a Jaw injury while BRANDON CLARKE left with his hands wrapped in a towel- injuries to watch out for in Memphis.

  • JAE'SEAN TATE reaggravated his ankle injury- no official report but chances are he misses time again. It's not Tari Eason who is getting the minutes though but KJ MARTIN. He's in deep league convo if Tate does miss time.
