NBA Fantasy Week 5 Schedule Analysis

WEEK 5 SCHEDULE ANALYZER

Week 5 Schedule

Breakdown of Games (NOV. 15-21 MANILA TIME)

QUALITY DAYS- Coming off a loaded week 4, the NBA gives us a lighter schedule with 3 definite by the book QDs- in the usual WED/FRI/SUN variety. The first day of the week has only 7 games too so that’s a day you can try and add players to add to your games.

San Antonio is King this week with 5 games that are relatively good match-ups too. They have SAC, POR, LAL this week so it should be a big week if you own some Spurs players- unless of course Pop decides to rest them in some games. Last season during the Spurs’ 5 game-weeks, Pop, rested his whole starters in 1 game so we might not be able to see the maximum effect of this schedule for the Spurs’ top dogs.

If you own players from the Bulls, Lakers, Wolves and Sixers- meaning guys like AD, Embiid, LBJ, KAT, Gobert, Ant Edwards, Derozan etc, be ready to have a game plan going into their 2 game week. On the bright side, Zach Lavine will probably not need to rest this week.

Back-to-Backs

As expected the Spurs have 2 sets of B2B this week as they have 5 games, the Clippers also start the week with a B2B so they’d be appealing to stream.

Worst Defensive Rating Teams

Fastest Offensive Rating Teams

*We see some movements here but it's clear that Spurs, Rockets, Kings, Warriors, Pacers, Grizzlies and Nuggets are good teams to target against this year. The Nets moved out of the worst defensive teams as soon as Jacque Vaughn took over while it's a surprise to see the Celtics here, I'll bet they also improve and move out of this list next week.

Best Fantasy Schedule - Streaming Teams

SAN ANTONIO SPURS- 5 GAMES with 3 QUALITY DAYS, vs. GSW, POR, SAC, LAC, LAL

Aside from the quantity of games, the matchups are against fast paced teams too. Here is hoping that this will boost Jakob Poeltl and Tre Jones forward after some mixed-results in their games so far this season.

TARGETS-The good news is the Spurs have a lot of players to stream. Josh Richardson should be priority no.1, assuming he plays in all games. A guy like Doug McDermott could technically give you 15-18 3PTS this week which is a boost in that category and also an under the radar Charles Bassey is good bet to get some blocks and rebounds.

LA CLIPPERS- 3 QDs vs HOU, DAL, DET, SAS

Clippers are here in this section again with games agains Hou, SAS on tap, and also they are 1 of only 3 teams with games on all QDs this week, plus a B2B to start the week as bonus.

TARGETS- I am assuming we don’t see Kawhi yet and like the Spurs, there are some good players to choose from. Luke Kennard will challenge McDermott for 3s streamer, Terence Mann will get some added minutes when John Wall rests and has played better. Hold on to Norman Powell too. Look for Nic Batum and Robert Covington for stocks and Reggie Jackson for assists.

PORTLAND- 3 QDs vs SAS, BKN, UTAH

The only other team who play on all 3 QDs this week are the Blazers.

TARGETS- Portland just got back Dame Lillard and Anfernee Simons so we have less options for good streamers but I think Justise Winslow and Shaedon Sharpe should still be okay gambles on the QDs. If Jusuf Nurkic continues to miss time, of course, Drew Eubanks is a no-brainer stream.

UTAH/ SACRAMENTO/ BROOKLYN- 2 QDs

These 3 are on the next tier for streaming, getting 2 of the 3 this week. I would be interested in Brooklyn more as we check if Kyrie Irving comes back from suspension or not. Seth Curry makes for an interesting add in case Irving is still out. He is playing better as of late too.
