Oh My Luka!

DALLAS MAVERICKS VS. BROOKLYN NETS
  • Luka shot 11/13 from the FT line today, 86% for the season and has been averaging a triple double- well almost but you get what I mean. He's no.1 right now, probably won't end there, but close.

  • Luka's so good, he has Dallas winning with no other star beside him. In fantasy, after Wood, you have to go all the way to Dinwiddie as the other roster-worthy player.

  • Ben Simmons is getting better, the steals numbers have returned and he is still getting his usual rebounds-assists. We are not drafting him to score anyways.

  • If you gambled on Kyrie- so far so good. He has always been a first rounder on per game basis and the past 2 games showed why. Selling or not depends on how confident you are that he won't go cray cray. I think he'll behave fwiw.

  • KD's just doing his stuff quietly, he might not be as exciting as Ja and Luka, or as young, but those old legs still got it.

  • I'd watch Nic Claxton's minutes carefully- is he getting less time as Ben plays more- Nets learning playing 2 non-shooters is tough on offense.

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS VS. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
  • Paul George's having a disappointing start to the season. That elbow's fixed right? With Kawhi out, he's got to do more- please PG, wake up!

  • Norm Powell woke up from the dead today, he's a streaky guy so maybe this gets him going. Hold on if you haven't dropped him yet.

  • Ivica Zubac- sell high? Nah. Ride the guy for solid, no frills rebounds, FG and blocks.

  • Speaking of selling and of gambles paying off- enter SGA. Top 5 guy this year so far and that's with missing 1 game. Guy is a stud but I'd prefer Kyrie over him for this year.

  • The good Lu Dort, Poku and Bazley showed up today, I still think only Dort is worth owning. Bazley's a good stream though.

  • Tre Mann will be okay till Giddey returns while Aaron Wiggins continues to start and get the minutes at SF. 16T league guy right now.

MIAMI HEAT VS. GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
  • Maybe we should call out more struggling people more often- Bam shut us up with a 26-8-1-4-3 line today. More of this please. The buy low window is partially closed for now.

  • Tyler Herro had another bad game, he'll bounce back while Caleb Martin put up a dud after yesterday's great line. He is still a 14T hold for me. Strus is also borderline 14T worthy, streamer in standard leagues.

  • Klay and Dray are now getting 30 minutes a game according to Coach Kerr- arrows pointing up for them. Will this come at the expense of Jordan Poole? Certainly looks that way.

  • Andrew Wiggins' been really good this year. Underrated player that flew under the radar during draft season.

SACRAMENTO KINGS VS. MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES
  • Kevin Huerter fading, Malik Monk surging. Huerter's not a must hold for me, he is just never consistent enough. You can ride the hot Monk for now till he cools off.

  • Domantas Sabonis is a buy low guy- he'll be better than what he has shown so far but he ain't a 2nd rounder this year- no way.

  • Harrison Barnes had one of his good games today, Good Job if you had him but I'm not expecting this to continue. We've seen this movie before, he'll eventually fall back to earth.

  • Keegan's been solid but it hasn't showed in the stat lines so far. We need more stocks from him in future games.

  • I love Desmond Bane- that's on record and I'm happy he has returned to his old form- if you bought low as we advised- you got a stud.

  • Santi Aldama salvaged today's line with 2 stls/2 blks late in garbage time but would have been an empty 29 minutes for him otherwise. Brandon Clarke had his 2nd straight good game. Something to watch out in future games. I'd pick Clarke back up and see if he continues to play well.
