🏀𝐓𝐎𝐑 𝐯𝐬. 𝐃𝐄𝐓
✔ Gary Trent joined FVV, Siakam and Achiuwa on the sidelines and that resulted in DALANO BANTON's career game. The guards should be back soon so you can leave Banton on the wires unless we get news Trent and FVV will miss another game.
✔ Otto Porter started but then got injured as the Raps continue to get decimated. I think at this point, THAD YOUNG should be added as he'll play an even bigger role for the team. He had a solid 6-6-4-2-1 line today and the assists/steals combo is certainly something he can sustain given the minutes.
✔ Of course, we can't forget about CHRIS BOUCHER! He got 31 minutes today as the fantasy gods made sure Nick Nurse would have no other player to play ahead of him by removing those ahead of him. Boucher will inevitably fall off the radar when the cavalry returns but until that happens, enjoy the ride.
✔SCOTTIE BARNES has been very disappointing this season and more so these past games when the Raps were already down so many players. He is only 94th this season with lower shooting splits, fewer stocks and also less points. If he can't get going with Siakam out, it will be tougher when he returns.
✨ Dwayne Casey decided to tinker with a huge lineup by inserting his favorite MARVIN BAGLEY into the starting 5 over Saddiq Bey. Of course, ISAIAH STEWART then gets injured so Bey returned as the starter in the 2nd half. Bagley's an okay add in 14T leagues and up but don't keep your hopes up, he's very low ceiling guy though he did have a decent game today.
✨ Quiet game from KILLIAN HAYES today but still helped with 4 stocks- he's still going to be the top add this week with Cade out. ALEC BURKS is also a guy I'm interested in if you are looking for points. He's cheaper than other similar guys like Sexton or Bones but gives the same stats.
🏀 𝐂𝐇𝐀 𝐯𝐬. 𝐎𝐑𝐋
✔ What has entered into MASON PLUMLEE? Did he steal the spirit of Nikola Jokic? He is averaging 11.4P 10R 3.8A this November and continues to play well. His minutes will be secure but this is a prime chance to cash in if you own him- see what you can get for him
✔ I think the run of JALEN MCDANIELS is over. He still gets the minutes but as Rozier, LaMelo and company returns to action, he's not going to have as big a chance and usage to contribute. He's more of a streaming quality guy right now.
✨ It will be interesting to see what happens to MO BAMBA when Paolo Banchero returns. Bamba had another solid showing today with a double double in only 21 minutes. We might see him eat into the minutes of Bol Bol a little when Banchero returns. Something to monitor closely.
✨ Another player I'd look into trading is FRANZ WAGNER. I feel his value is at its peak right now as he has taken advantage of injuries to different players. As it is, he is still outside the top 100 because of the lack of stocks. Try flipping him for a more well-rounded player.
🏀 𝐎𝐊𝐂 𝐯𝐬. 𝐁𝐎𝐒
✔ For the nth time, the Thunder changed their starting 5 again, inserting JALEN WILLIAMS. We know how promising this rookie is but we just don't know if he will continue to start- the odds are he won't. But if you are in 16T league and up, he's a must add. In 14T leagues, you can gamble and see if this change sticks.
✔ ALEKSEJ POKUSEVSKI got 37 minutes today with a big line of 16P 14R and 4 stocks. It seems like he has got that starting gig secured but we never know with OKC. Poku's going to have bouts of inconsistencies but should overall should be a 12T standard league guy for the rest of the season.
✨AL HORFORD's a top 30 player the past week and is top 75 for the season so we can put to rest the slow start he had this season. The rests are still annoying but as long as Robert Williams is without a timeline, his value is still safe.
🏀 𝐌𝐈𝐀 𝐯𝐬. 𝐏𝐇𝐎
✔ BAM ADEBAYO had a huge 30-10 game today and his stats are almost identical to last season as of today. He's entered the top 60 but I think his ceiling is at the 30-40 range as his blocks and steals rate has not really improved from last year. He'll need an injury like now to Herro or to Jimmy to live up to his top 20 draft spot.
✔ CALEB MARTIN played well but he hasn't been consistent at all this season. I'd wait for another game or two to see if he can finally take advantage of his starting spot.
✨ CP3 seems close but the Suns are content to play it slow with the old guy, CAM PAYNE struggled today but continue playing him while CP3's out.
🏀 𝐋𝐀𝐂 𝐯𝐬. 𝐇𝐎𝐔
✔ Game was a blowout so the Clips spread out the minutes to everyone. Biggest news was probably Kawhi who hasn't been ruled out for games this week. Only Clips worth owning right now are PG, Zubac, Marcus Morris and Norm Powell, others are all streamers.
✨ Another bad shooting game from JABARI SMITH coming off a double double the last game. The rookie's season will be a roller coaster. If you can't deal with the stress, find a way to move him after a solid game. At least he finally got 3 steals!
✨ ALPEREN SENGUN the past 3 games has averaged 13P 5R, more TOs than Assists and has less than 1 steal and 1 block a game. Could be the chance to BUY HIM, he has gotten into foul trouble and lost his rhythm on those games- he'll be fine.
✨TARI EASON back to 14 minutes but again, it was a blowout so the rotation got whacked. Not panicking, keep and hold him for now.
🏀 𝐀𝐓𝐋 𝐯𝐬. 𝐌𝐈𝐋
✔ Good game from DEANDRE HUNTER but he's very overrated guy in fantasy. He's the definition of one-dimensional- all points and nothing else. Don't fall for it, there are way better options than him. To illustrate, he is averaging 0.9A, 0.3S, 0.2B a game this season, he doesn't turn the ball over though 😂
✔ ONYEKA OKONGWU's on the drop list at this point. The minutes are just not there for him and waiting for a Capela injury to happen could result in rostering a dead weight for weeks or months.
✨GIANNIS had a bad game today vs a relatively favorable matchup in the Hawks. He missed the previous 3 games prior to this which makes me worried about how his knee really feels. Either he was rusty or they aren't telling us the bigger picture with what's ailing his knee.
✨ JEVON CARTER's the favorite streamer as of late as Jrue Holiday continues to miss time but I think there is an outside chance he can hold value even when Jrue returns. Grayson Allen left today with an injury and if the Bucks decide to start Carter with Jrue, he could hold 14T league low end value for his stocks (1.6S 0.7B).
🏀 𝐆𝐒𝐖 𝐯𝐬. 𝐒𝐀𝐒
✔ No KLAY = Poole 🚀, that's a simple formula you can follow in fantasy. Poole's still outside the top 150 which again will not be the case for the rest of the season, but I'll be wary about his prospects this year. Buy low if you can, but there is a chance he is not a top 100 guy when it's all said and done.
✨Blowout to start game 1 of 5 for the Spurs which wasn't ideal for their stars- Vassell, Poeltl and Keldon all had poor games. Tre Jones is dealing with an illness so he might miss tomorrow's B2B too. The other Spurs streamers were just okay today and you can keep streaming them for tomorrow- Josh Richardson, Charles Bassey, Keith Bates-Diop and Jeremy Sochan.
🏀 Are we seeing JAREN JACKSON JR's debut tomorrow? There seems to be a big chance that happens. This is very positive news for those who gambled on him. Santi Aldama's days are numbered.
