NOVEMBER 1-7
QUALITY DAYS
There are significantly less number of games this week 3 and makes for more chances of upsets. We have 3 Quality Days- the usual Wed/Fri sets and then the last day also only has 4 days. Even Tuesday, Saturday are not full and can technically be considered QDs so there are lots of rooms to stream this week. You would have to device a good streaming plan right away as chances are with only 9 teams with 4 games, you could be down a lot of games to your opponents in terms of quantity.
SCHEDULING QUIRKS
Usually, we only have 1 team or at most 2 with 2 games in a week, this time, we have 3!!! I have the luck of owning Nikola Jokic and Tyrese Haliburton on one team and good luck to me this coming week. If you own these 1st rounders and also Luka Doncic, it’s an uphill climb specially if your opponent has Giannis, KD, Kyrie or Ja Morant or the Toronto boys.
Another note, all teams play on the first game of week 4 so I’d use most of my moves for this week 3 and not try to save any for the following week. This is also the reason why only 4 games are scheduled on the last day for week 3. This is due to the NBA giving way to the National Elections in the US on November 8 so I think they adjusted the sched for that.
Back-to-Back Games
Looking at B2Bs, it’s also light this week and to note, BKN has 2 sets of B2Bs which would be crucial for the status of KD and Ben Simmons. They haven’t rested this year but I wouldn’t rule out a rest for next week.
Chicago has a B2B and then a B2B to end the week and start the following one so for sure Zach Lavine’s missing one end of each B2B set. If we are not lucky, he might miss 2 games for week 3 depending on which game he decides to sit out.
Best Fantasy Schedule - Streaming Teams
CHICAGO- 2 QUALITY DAYS, vs BKN, CHA, BOS, TOR
The Bulls get the first and last Quality Days this week with 2 more match-ups squeezed in the middle. Matchups are a mixed bag but games against the Nets and Hornets will be good fast paced contests.
TARGETS- Alex Caruso is my top stream for the Bulls and if Andre Drummond is on your wires, he’s a guy who’d have great value for next week vs teams that give up a lot of rebounds.
BKN- 2 QUALITY DAYS vs. IND, CHI, WAS, CHA
3 of 4 matchups vs top 10 teams in Offensive Pace. Sadly, the Nets have one of the shallowest rotations there is so not much players to target here. Hold on to Royce O’Neal for another week at least, he’ll be useful.
GSW- 2 QUALITY DAYS, vs. MIA, ORL, NOP
Only 3 games but also have 2 QDs. GSW has 2 QDs and 3 games in 4 days so they’re very good team to target for streaming.
TARGETS- Kevon Looney is my best bet specially with a slow paced Heat and a big Orlando team up on deck. James Wiseman is similarly a good player to roster this week.
OKC- 2 QUALITY DAYS, vs. ORL, DEN, MIL
OKC also gets the first 2 QDs like GSW but only 3 games. There are more players to choose from here depending on injury update of Josh Giddey.
TARGETS- Keep holding Tre Mann till we actually see Giddey on the court, Jalen Williams returned to action and is my favorite add here for the Thunder. Because of the sched, I can see playing Darius Bazley also if you need blocks.
ORL- 2 QUALITY DAYS, vs. OKC, GSW, SAC
3 good matchups and a sched that is exactly like that of OKC.
TARGETS- Bol Bol!! He’s probably not available, in that case I’d settle for Terence Ross. I don’t see anybody else I like in the Magic roster.
Best Fantasy Schedules - Good Schedule/Favorable Matchups
I have the Clippers rated as the team with best fantasy schedule in terms of opponent. The other 3 on this list are not far behind. I hope this helps Paul George snap out of his slump and also should help a player like Norm Powell.
Big weeks are expected from Giannis (after only 5 games so far), Ja Morant and other top names from these 4 teams.
